TOM DIXON - MIRROR BALL

The aim was to produce a completely spherical, highly mirrored object that would disappear into its surroundings. Instead it does the opposite and is an ultra-visible, highly reflective object. Blow moulded polycarbonate, the internal surface is vacuum metallised chrome with a clear lacquer – a process commonly used in producing sunglasses and space helmet visors. One of the most identifiable iconic Tom Dixon products.
