Reading a book by the light of a lamp: an intimate gesture that inspires a poetic and friendly form, a little guide that perches on a shoulder and accompanies our thoughts. Colibrì gives form to this inspiration. It is the result of a continual line that draws a bird with a rounded head and a long tail, which become in turn a little diffuser and an adjustable stem to orientate towards the light. Supported by a fine stem, made of light aluminium and with a solid metal alloy base, the polycarbonate diffuser projects a soft, yet direct light that can be orientated along a vertical axis. The design features extreme continuity: when it is orientated upwards the joint embraces the stem which, in turn, houses the wire, encased in a slim inner channel. A system of elements that combine in perfect harmony to become a single whole. Symbolic and mimetic at the same time, Colibrì is a new inhabitant of the domestic space, designed to accompany reading, to light conversations or relaxation or to supply a halo of reflected light in your space, when directed towards the wall or the ceiling. It is an object that enchants with its simplicity and versatility. It is so discrete that it never passes unobserved, in both its color variants of white and green.

DESCRIPTION

Floor and reading lamp with direct light. Laterally and vertically adjustable batch-dyed polycarbonate diffuser. Extruded aluminum rod, die cast zinc alloy joint and base with laser-cut metal ballast, which are epoxy powder coated. The transparent cable is fitted with a gradual luminous intensity dimmer.
